This is a bitchin sharp set of knives. 80crv2 steel. The gyuto is 8.5” / 210mm long. The petty is 6” / 150mm long. For the handles I used stabilized weru burl and they have a lot of crazy figure. The price includes either the pictured knife block or a set of matching sayas to keep the blades safe.
The finger cleaver is a handy tool to keep close. It can open boxes, cut rope, etc. If you have a whole thing and want that thing less than whole, the finger cleaver is your guy. I ship these with three ways to carry: A kydex sheath, a lanyard if you want to wear it as a neck knife, and a pocket clip. Pretty neat, huh?
Here is a bigger gyuto. 80crv2 steel with some stunning teak burl. The spacer is OD green micarta and it has brass fixtures.
About Across The Road Knives
I’ve always had a weird fascination with knives. I always liked making things. Now I make knives and it makes me quite happy. You should buy some. I made my first knife-shaped thing in my grandpa’s shop when I was about 13 years old. Grandpa’s shop was “across the road” from the house, and that’s how he’d refer to the shop.
